ST REGULUS CHURCH, CROMARTY
I was invited to play the piano in this church at a wedding on 26 July 2008. The church is small and simple but quite lovely inside.
The night before the wedding we camped in 'Ruth' on the foreshore at Cromarty.
View of the church from the narrow street

View taken from just inside the church gates, there is not a lot of space and so it is difficult to get the complete church in the image with reasonable perspective

The Lady Chapel
(Note the 'slit' type windows with stained glass, these are shown individually in a larger scale below the image of the Lady Chapel)

A Memorial Window in the church

Cromarty has a lovely shoreline with superb views.
This is the ferry and on this occasion is carrying Revd David Balfour who can be seen standing on the upper deck on the near corner wearing his hat. David took the wedding service.

This tanker had unloaded and was off out to sea again.
These brave men in canoes were also setting off for a journey in beautiful weather.
I am inspired by both the men who go out in little boats and those who master the seas in the giant ships.
Human nature is indeed wonderful when it is set free to enjoy what God has provided.
