IONA
Led by our Rector, Revd Mark Strange, members of our churches went on a pilgrimage to Iona. It was a great time to get to know each other better and what a lovely place to do it. Expecting a laid back and lazy few days I was surprised at the amount of physical activity - walking and climbing. Here are some photographs to show what we did.
We set off as a group and gradually divided into smaller groups as we chatted and mixed with each other. I met and got to know many members of the congretation whom I only knew on 'nodding terms' in church. Note that we are dressed for the weather!
